According to PWC’s Global Economic Crime Survey of 2016:

Cybercrime climbed to the 2nd most reported crime affecting organizations – but most organizations are not prepared to handle it.

It affects 32% of companies reporting, but only 37% of organizations have a cyber incident response plan.  Close to half (44%) say that local law enforcement is not adequately resourced to investigate economic crime.

Engagement of leadership is critical in dealing with cyber crime…

But less than half of Board members request information about their organization’s state of cyber-readiness.
