Roman currently leads a team that designs and deploys intrusion detection and prevention solutions to the CyberESI client base. Previously Roman worked in the Intrusions and Information Assurance section of the Department of Defense Cyber Crime Center where he performed reverse engineering of some of the most advanced malware samples extracted from DOD’s and its partner’s networks.
A lifelong computer enthusiast Roman has always been fascinated by computer viruses, Trojans, and techniques used by hackers to exploit vulnerable systems. Roman attended and graduated with honors from Wilmington University with Bachelor of Science in Computer and Network Security.
While in college Roman and his team competed and won the Department of Defense Digital Forensics Challenge placing first in the undergraduate division and third world wide.
